This is perhaps the most frequently asked question in our practice. However, that one is not easy to answer. Every treatment is different. Everyone has different abnormalities, your age can come into play, and the development of your teeth. It is also important to follow all advice carefully. Most patients finish between one and a half and two years.

The placement of the braces themselves does not hurt. Of course, the first time wearing braces takes some getting used to. Eating, especially biting, can be an unpleasant sensation at first. Fortunately, this lasts on average only two weeks.

For a good effect, it is important to wear the brace long enough. Sometimes it does not have to be all day, but 16 hours is enough for good effect.
